Tap in.

Bali locks students' apps for class. They tap their iPhone on your Bali block, the apps open again at the bell, and you see the whole room live.

Bali never sees a student's screen, messages, location or apps.

Phones are winning the high school classroom.

How it works

  1. Start the class

Start the session from any browser. New students join once with your class code.

  2. Students tap in

Each student holds their iPhone to your Bali block. Their apps lock on the spot, even without Wi-Fi.

  3. Apps open at the bell

Everything comes back on its own when class ends, and you get a recap of the class.

See Bali in a classroom

For teachers

  • A live grid of who's focused and who's unlocked
  • Add 5 or 10 minutes, or end class early
  • Questions and slides on every phone
  • A recap after the bell, every unlock included

For students

  • Calls, FaceTime, Messages and Emergency SOS keep working
  • Emergency Unlock any time: hold for one second
  • Saying why is optional
  • Apps open at the bell, even with Bali closed

Bali never sees a student's screen, messages, location or apps.

Teachers see what they need to run the class: who's focused, when each student taps in or unlocks, and the reason if they share one. A student's answers to questions count only toward the class's totals.

Questions

What happens in an emergency?

Students can unlock any time by holding for one second, and their apps open right away. Calls, FaceTime, Messages and Emergency SOS never lock. Every unlock shows on your grid and in the recap.

Does it work without Wi-Fi?

Yes. A tap locks the apps right away with no signal, and the phone tells your grid once it's back online.

Can a student turn Bali off?

They can switch off Bali's Screen Time access in Settings. If they do, your grid shows Screen Time off for them.

Is there an Android version?
